Area Guide Not Associated with Shootout or LN
Special Notice

We have been getting a lot of questions regarding a recent area guide that was handed out at the Summer Shootout at the Lowe's Motor Speedway.  The inquiries have come from the actual businesses involved in the non-approved area guide and Shootout competitors themselves.  LegendsNation.com did not have anything to do with that guide this year.  Also, LMS has taken care of stopping the distribution of the flyers because the company did not have permission to do so, nor are they associated with the Shootout.  LN was going to produce the area guide once again, but was told that there was a fee to distribute the material.  LN then decided it was not economically feasible.  LN supports the decision made by the speedway and attempts to assist the Legends and Bandolero world by increasing exposure for that style of racing.

Legends Nation Radio returns tonight, Wednesday, July 1st, live from Buffalo Wild Wings in the Afton Ridge shopping center Concord, North Carolina (and on RaceTalkRadio.com).  All race fans, drivers and crew members are invited to join LN for great food and entertainment at the restaurant, where you will be able to listen to the show live while eating.

Guests for the show include winners from the round four action at Lowe's Motor Speedway (NC) for the Summer Shootout Series on Tuesday, June 30th, including Bandolero Bandits driver Ray Beebe, Masters driver John Sossoman, Young Lions racer Justin Grimes and his car set-up guru Chase Pistone.

Also, LN Radio will discuss the happenings in the nation, including the recent information distributed by INEX about the new wheel rule for 2010.

The show will take place tonight from 6:00PM - 6:30PM Eastern and will be broadcast live on RaceTalkRadio.com (click the "listen live" button at the top right of the site).  The show will be followed by a 90-minute Speed 51 Radio show, focusing on the short track racing world, from 6:30PM - 8:00PM.

Note: Justin Grimes will not be able to make tonight's show, so LN will have Grimes and Chase Pistone on a future LN Radio.  Instead, Harrison Rhodes, who finished third in the Young Lions race at Lowe's as well as winning at Lanier (GA) and Orange County (NC) this past weekend, will be in studio.
